FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) -- Fairfax police say a Fairfax Auto Gallery employee reportedly stopped a man from stealing a vehicle but then the man came back in different clothing.
According to police, on Feb. 11 around 1:41 p.m., the man had gotten the keys to the vehicle and tried to take it but the employee jumped in front of it. The man fled with the keys and then returned at approximately 3:56 p.m., wearing different clothing.
By this time, the employee had already reported the incident to police. When the man learned police had been called he fled.
Eighteen year old Hodifa Aboulh Tunalli was later found in the area and taken into custody after an investigation, say police.
Tunalli was transported to the Adult Detention Center and charged with grand larceny. His bond was set at $3000.
The dealership has been the site of a few stolen vehicle reports. Earlier this month, an employee at the same dealership had reported that someone had stolen a 2004 Volvo V70 station wagon from the rear lot. Before that incident, police reported that someone took a dark blue Mustang from a dealership's garage.
