MONZA’s CINCO DE MAYO MENU; 10 PERCENT DONATED TO SERVE

On Mon., May 5, Monza of Old Town Manassas, Va. is featuring Cinco de Mayo entree specials, ranging in price from $2.50 to $7.50, with 10 percent of all food sales, being donated to Manassas, Va.-based, SERVE, a shelter that provides resources to those in need. Monza’s Cinco De Mayo Madness menu includes: pork or chicken tacos with corn tortilla, avocado slices, pico de gallo, cheese; fish tacos with corn tortilla, tilapia, avocado slices, pico de gallo and sriracha aioli; and nacho platter Supremo, served with tortilla chips, pico de gallo, sour cream, black bean salsa and cheese. A variety of Cinco de Mayo refreshments are also available from $3.50 to $8.

Rialto Serves up Aphrodisiacs for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is traditionally for lovers and celebrating one’s love for another. People choose to show their love in various ways, including by purchasing gifts. Each year billions are spent on candy, flowers, and jewelry. One way that people can make the night even more special is to dine on some aphrodisiacs, which are those foods that are believed to arouse sexual desire or excitement.

“We may never know exactly which foods will get someone in the mood and which ones won’t,” explains Ryan Fichter, the executive chef at Rialto, a new Italian restaurant in Georgetown. “But there are some foods that many people believe are more prone to helping someone get in the mood. Never hurts to start by trying those dishes and increasing your chances for a great evening.”

Rialto’s Executive Chef, Ryan Fichter, is proud to introduce a five course seasonal tasting menu, ranging from hors d'oeuvres to desserts, for guests seeking a truly unique dining experience.

“The tasting menu is comprised of dishes I have hand-picked to delight even the most discriminating palettes,” says Fichter. “Offering diners a distinctive culinary journey, each dish on our new tasting menu has been expertly paired with wine to enhance every bite,” he says.

Each meal is $65 per person, with an optional wine pairing for an additional $35 per person.
