Bull Run Regional Park Brings Residents the Festival of Lights

Bull Run Regional Park has transformed into a Christmas light wonderland. Come out and enjoy the Festival of Lights, and Winter Wonderland Holiday Village from now until January 9.

The Festival of Lights is a 2.5 mile drive-through display of more than 75,000 lights, with different scenes from your favorite disney movies, Santa Claus, toy soldiers, gingerbread men and more. The Festival of Lights is open from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and until 10 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays.

Once you finish driving through the lights you end at the Holiday village, which includes carnival games and rides, an ice skating rink and live entertainment. The village is open from 5:30-10 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.

Bull Run Regional Park is located at 7700 Bull Run Drive in Centreville, VA. The cost is $15-$20 per car and carnival tickets are $1.25 or $16 for all you can ride.

I definitely recommend bringing a few Christmas CDs and maybe some hot apple cider or hot chocolate for the car ride! If you are planning on going to the carnival after the drive-through light show, be sure to bundle up.

Do you have a house in Fairfax County that has some Christmas lights that we don't want to miss? We want to feature your house! Send your pictures to neighborhoods@wusa9.com and make the subject "Christmas lights."
