Former U.S. Army Surgeon General, Patricia Horoho, Executive Coach, Brian Gast, Customer Service Expert, John Dijulius, Strategic Planning Expert, Rick Houcek and Founder of TRX and Fitness Expert, Randy Hetrick Join Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness Advisory Committee

What do a former Army Surgeon General, an executive coach, a customer service expert, a strategic planning expert, and a former Navy SEAL have in common?  The answer is military and veteran wellness.  And this is exactly why these five world-renowned experts have joined the wellness advisory committee for Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness.

“I am honored by the involvement and leadership from our wellness advisory committee,” says Ken Falke, chairman and founder of Boulder Crest Retreat. “As a former bomb disposal specialist, I value the importance of having access to some of the brightest brains in the business.  Our mission at Boulder Crest is all about wellness, customer care, and posttraumatic growth. We are building a team that is second to none.  Adding Patty, Brian, John, Rick, and Randy is a great step for us.”

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Patricia D. Horoho, the first woman and nurse to serve as a military surgeon general, served as the 43rd U.S. Army Surgeon General and commanding general of the US. Army Medical Command. In her 33-year career with the Army, Horoho held every level of leadership in Army Medicine and served as commander of Western Regional Medical Command, based in Fort Lewis, Wash.; Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash.; Walter Reed Health Care System in Washington, D.C.; and DeWitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, Va. She also served as the special assistant to the commander for the International Security Assistance Force Joint Command in Afghanistan.

“I have always embraced the belief that a collaborative approach for caring for our warriors that leverages the tenets of health, wellness, sleep, activity, and nutrition are fundamental to improving the health readiness of those that have given and are continuing to give so much to this great nation of ours,” says Horoho. “I look forward to serving with the Boulder Crest team as we leverage the diverse expertise on the team.”
