Rec-PAC Announces Open Hire Dates for 2012 Summer Camps | Events

The Fairfax County Park Authority is looking for creative, high-energy, motivated candidates for part-time camp leader and site director positions in the Rec-PAC summer camp program. Four Open Hire sessions are slated to fill opening for the 2012 season.

Rec-PAC, (Pretty Awesome Children) is a six-week structured recreation program with an emphasis on leisure skills. Camps will be offered at 50 elementary schools on weekdays from July 2 through August 9, 2012. Summer staff will be assigned to a site and work daily from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Three Open Hire sessions will be held on the first floor of the Herrity Building located at 12055 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035.

·        Friday, March 9          Noon to 4:30 p.m.  

·        Friday, May 22           Noon to 4:30 p.m. 

·        Friday, May 31           Noon to 4:30 p.m.  

One special Open Hire session will be held:

·        Friday, April 11          5 to 8 p.m. at Mt Eagle Elementary School
